Pickford Film Center (PFC) is more than movies! A vital, mission-driven organization dedicated to its community, PFC offers an authentic, rich and uniquely Bellingham "experience" in a casual and friendly environment. PFC programming brings people from all walks of life together to celebrate the joy of the moving image.

PFC was founded in 1998 by a small group of local film fans dedicated to making high-quality cinema available in Bellingham and the entire Whatcom County region.

The mission of PFC is to provide a forum and resource for independent cinema, strengthening community through education, dialogue and the celebration of film. PFC offers year-round, independent, foreign and documentary film and related special events.
A organization that provides structure in the form of a coop for local film companies to pool resources and cooperatively bring their individual visions to fruition.

The WSSN currently has three goals:

  1. To allow local film makers a chance to show their art.
  2. To allow the public access to affordable, well made, high quality film.
  3. To produce film content featuring local talent.
By achieving these goals, we are creating a network for independent Washington State film.
